Training

With an academic background in theology and clinical pastoral training I have trained, over several decades now in  counselling, psychotherapy and psychosexual therapy,  in Germany, the UK and further afield.  I have trained in many forms of psychotherapy, some of which are more traditional (e.g. Object Relations) some more innovative (e.g. Gestalt, Mindell, Almaas). Overall, my approach is integrative, which means that I draw on several forms of therapy to work effectively with my clients.

Accreditation and Registration

I am accredited as psychotherapist with the Association of Humanistic Psychology Practitioners (AHPP) and senior accredited with the National Council for Psychotherapy (NCP).  I am a licensed Psychosexual and Couples Psychoherapist as well as a clinical supervisor with the College for Sexual Relationship Therapy (COSRT). I run trainings approved by the National Centre for Psychotherapy, the Association for Coaching (AC) and the College for Sexual and Relationship Therapy (COSRT); some are accredited by Middlesex University. I am course director of the London Diploma in Psychosexual and Relationship Therapy and several other trainings, mostly at Postgraduate level. Do not assume that he who seeks to comfort you now, lives untroubled among the simple and quiet words that sometimes do you good. His life may also have much sadness and difficulty, that remains far beyond yours. Were it otherwise, he would never have been able to find these words. Rainer Maria Rilke
